Pacific Environmental Technologies’ state-of-the-art Softwall Clean
Isolator System? is an economical way to meet your cleanroom needs. Its portable
modular design creates a flexible and convenient cleanroom system, allowing
for easy cleanroom expansions, classification up-grades, and with optional
heavy-duty locking casters – mobility! The Softwall Clean Isolator System?
can achieve cleanroom cleanliness levels from ISO 4 through ISO 8 (Class 10
to Class 100,000). In addition, and if the application requires, the Softwall
Clean Isolator System? can also be design as a negative pressure room for
containment proposes or upgraded in the future to a modular hard wall system,
using ¼” modular wall panels and a 2” framing system (see
Modular Clean Isolator System for details).
The structural frame of the Softwall Clean Isolator System? is
designed to California’s “Seismic Zone 4” requirements
and can free span up to 24 feet. The standard interior frame joist
along with the optional 1 ½” heavy-duty ceiling grid
can accommodate ceiling loads up to 10 pounds per sq./ft, even
on cleanrooms featuring a 20’ clear free span. For durability
and ease of cleaning, the entire structural platform features a
non-contaminating, glossy white powder coated finish.
| Shown here is a 1,720 sq ft. ISO 7
(Class 10,000) multi configuration cleanroom system,
which consist of five (5) complete and individual free-standing
cleanrooms (one @ 10’ x 12’ and four @ 20’x
20’). The four (4) main support post on each of
the five (5) cleanrooms feature quick release draw latches
and caught points allowing them to be disconnected and
re-connected in a variety of configurations. Softwall
curtains are fabricated out of a non out-gassing ESD
safe opaque material. This design approach helps to accommodate
clients with ever-changing programs and applications |

Solid and strip softwall vinyl curtains are attached to the Softwall
Clean Isolator System? trusses assemblies with a clear anodized
extruded aluminum mounting system. 3M dual-lock is sewn to the
sides of the solid softwall vinyl curtain sections, which are secured
to the cleanrooms 4” square main support posts using a mating
piece of 3M dual-lock, thus eliminating cleanroom entry at un-authorized
access points. Vinyl strip curtains allow entry into the cleanroom
areas and are alternated clear/frosted/clear to eliminate sticking.
A calculated gap between the bottom of the solid and strip softwall
vinyl curtains and the facility floor is used to ensure exiting
air flow eliminates influx of detrimental contaminates from the
surrounding area, while minimize “ballooning” of the
cleanrooms softwall curtains.
A very desirable feature of any portable softwall cleanroom is
a safe and user-friendly pre-wiring system. As such, each Softwall
Clean Isolator System? can be furnished with an optional pre-fabricated
armored cable system with modular plugs, which allow quick and
easy daisy chain electrical connection to the cleanroom light fixtures
and motorized HEPA and/or ULPA filter modules. The cleanroom light
fixtures and HEPA and/or ULPA filter modules are then connected
to pre-wired junction boxes, part of the optional pre-wiring system.
Each Softwall Clean Isolator System? is pre-fabricated, labeled
and packaged for fast and easy on-site installation. With its “built
like a tank” structural platform, visual appeal and competitive
price, the Softwall Clean Isolator System? is a must for any portable
cleanroom application.

The Softwall Clean Isolator System? shown below features two separate
cleanroom areas, an optional external gown room and HVAC mechanical
split system (condensing unit not shown). Each of the two cleanroom
areas feature a thermostat for controlling room temperature,
and if required, could easily be retrofitted to include relative
humidity control.
