Pacific Environmental Technologies pass through chambers are available
in a variety of sizes and configurations to meet the most basic and complex
applications, but can also be custom ordered to meet YOUR specific requirements.
Pass through chambers are available in standard sizes ranging from 12”W
x 12”D x 12”H to 40”W x 48”D x 48”H for
installation above the finished floor or floor mounted. Floor mounted
pass through chambers feature a small built-in low profile ramp to allow
materials being transferred by cart to be easily pushed into and pulled
out of the pass through chamber.
A mechanical interlocking mechanism is standard all Pacific Environmental
Technologies, Inc. pass through chambers, which controls cross-contamination
by allowing only one door at a time to be opened. These interlocking
mechanisms are maintenance free and require no electrical power to operate. As
helpful as pass through chambers are in controlling cross contamination,
it is sometimes necessary to go a step further to ensure that the cleanliness
of your cleanroom isn’t compromised. That’s why we provide
units with a HEPA or ULPA filter air shower purging for enhanced particle
control. The HEPA or ULPA filter option can be provided with a built-in
blower unit or with a non-powered HEPA or ULPA unit for connection to
an in-house air handling system.

Pass through chambers help in the following ways:
- Helps to control contamination within the cleanroom by eliminating
unnecessary personnel entry
- Allows for quick and convenient transfer of materials between adjoining
cleanrooms or from a non-cleanroom to a cleanroom area
- Saves valuable time by eliminating the need for gowning and de-gowning
of personnel bringing required material, parts, etc., to
the cleanroom
Standard materials used by Pacific Environmental technologies, Inc. in
fabricating pass through chambers are:
A. Laminated Formica (non-conductive and conductive)
B. Acrylic (Clear, amber, smoked, etc.)
C. PVC (non-dissipative and ESD safe static dissipative)
D. Polypropylene
E. Stainless Steel (304 and 316)
F. Electro Polished Stainless Steel
(304 & 316)
